My research is focused on the science and technology of polymers, plastics and rubber based materials.
Current activity is focused on synthetic and natural polymeric materials and tackling global issues in the areas of:
(1) Reducing the environmental impact of plastic and rubber based materials and products;
(2) Creating nanostructured polymers with novel properties and applications;
(3) Designing new processes and materials for rapid manufacturing;
(4) Enhancing security for people, documents and brands;
(5) Developing materials and devices for medical applications.
